• To deliver free-tool / diagnosis results and reports, manage accounts, and send operational notices
• To analyze access patterns and understand usage trends for service improvement
• To send service announcements and promotional communications (including seminar/webinar invitations, newsletters, and campaign information, sent only with your prior explicit consent)
• To accept online shop orders, process payment, ship products, handle returns and exchanges, and send purchase-related notices

Transactional emails required to provide the service (e.g. report delivery, application confirmation, password reset, order confirmation, and shipping notices) may be sent regardless of marketing email consent.

4. Promotional Emails (Opt-in)

Advertising or promotional emails (seminars, newsletters, etc.) are sent only to individuals who have opted in via a checkbox or equivalent control on our forms. Entering an email solely to view free-tool results or receive a diagnosis report does not constitute consent to receive promotional emails. You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

To understand usage, improve our services, and optimize advertising, we may use cookies and similar technologies, including the following tools:

Hashed email addresses may be sent to Google, Meta, and OpenAI, and hashed phone numbers, names, and similar information may be sent to Google and Meta. These providers use this information solely for conversion measurement and advertising optimization.

In addition, when you submit an inquiry form, we send your IP address, browser information (User-Agent), the source page URL, and advertising click identifiers to OpenAI in unhashed form for OpenAI Ads conversion measurement. This information is used solely for conversion measurement and advertising optimization.

In addition, for conversion measurement via Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, we may send your IP address, browser information (User-Agent), and cookie identifiers (such as fbp / fbc) to Meta in unhashed form when you submit an inquiry form. This information is used solely for conversion measurement and advertising optimization.

In addition, Google Analytics' Google signals feature may use data for cross-device measurement and ad optimization for users who are signed in to a Google account and have ad personalization enabled. These data cannot directly identify an individual.

To stop conversion-measurement data from being sent from this site to OpenAI, please contact us via our contact form. We will stop sending such data to the extent required by applicable law.

6. Online Shop

The online shop on this website (sales of umoren products) handles personal information for orders, payment, shipping, and product reviews as follows.

Orders, payment, and shipping

Checkout is completed on a payment page provided by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates ("Stripe"). When you place an order, we receive your name, email address, phone number, shipping address (within Japan), order details (product, size, quantity, and amount), and payment status.

Card numbers and other payment credentials are entered on Stripe's page and are not stored on our servers. We keep only the name, contact details, shipping address, order details, and Stripe transaction identifiers needed to fulfill the order.

We use this information to accept the order, process payment, ship the product, send purchase confirmations, handle returns and exchanges, respond to inquiries, and prevent fraud. Stripe may email a receipt to the address you provide. To deliver the product, we provide the recipient's name, address, and phone number to the shipping carrier.

Product reviews

When you submit a review, you provide a display name, rating, title, review text, and, optionally, an email address. After we review the content, we may publish the display name and review on the product page. We do not publish the email address. We use it only to check whether you purchased the product (so we can show a verified-purchase label) and to contact you if needed.

To limit abusive submissions, we store a hashed identifier derived from the IP address of the submission and use it to restrict rapid repeat posts. We do not publish this identifier.

Payment processor

To process payment, we entrust your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and order details to Stripe. Stripe is primarily located in the United States. This is a processing engagement; we do not sell your personal information to third parties. For how Stripe handles data, and for the personal information protection system of the United States, see "Transfers to third parties in foreign countries" below.

7. Integration with LLMs and External Services

Our service may integrate with external search services and large language model (LLM) APIs to analyze and improve LLM visibility and AI search mentions for client websites.

• We may retrieve publicly available information (text, metadata, etc.) from target websites and send it to models or external services for analysis.
• Analysis is limited to publicly available information. Personal information you submit through forms is never sent to external LLM APIs.

OpenAI Ads, described in section 5, is a service for ad delivery and performance measurement, and is separate from the large language model (LLM) APIs described in this section. This section governs the use of LLM APIs in our analysis processing.

Data handling by external services is subject to each service provider's terms of use and privacy policies.

8. Third-Party Disclosure

We will not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except as permitted by law. For advertising performance measurement, we may provide personal data to advertising providers within the scope described in section 5. We may engage cloud service providers or other contractors for data processing as part of our service operations, and we ensure appropriate management and supervision of such contractors. For the online shop, we entrust payment processing to Stripe and delivery to a shipping carrier (section 6).

Transfers to third parties in foreign countries

For the advertising measurement described in section 5, we may provide personal data to third parties located in foreign countries, including Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., and OpenAI OpCo, LLC (and their affiliates). The destination country is primarily the United States.

In addition, to process online shop payments as described in section 6, we entrust the name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and order details from an order to Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. Stripe is primarily located in the United States. Card numbers and similar payment credentials are collected by Stripe directly and do not pass through our servers.

By agreeing to this policy and submitting a form, you consent to the provision of personal data to the foreign third parties described in section 5 for advertising measurement. Entrusting order data to Stripe is a separate processing engagement under section 6, and is not part of that form consent. If you wish to stop transfers to foreign third parties, please contact us using the information below.

9. Security Measures

We implement reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or leakage of collected information, including access control, encryption, and log management.

10. Retention Period and Deletion

We retain collected information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of use. After those purposes have been fulfilled, or upon your request for deletion, we will delete the information appropriately, except where retention is required by law.

Records of online shop orders, payments, and shipments are kept for as long as needed to ship products, handle returns and exchanges, respond to inquiries, and meet statutory record-keeping duties. Published reviews are kept while they remain published. Email addresses that are not published, and hashed IP identifiers, are kept only as long as needed to verify a purchase or prevent abusive submissions.

Records related to consent for promotional emails may be retained to the extent necessary after unsubscribe, in order to confirm consent status and prevent re-sending.

Upon your request, we will respond to requests to disclose, correct, suspend use, or delete your personal information that we hold. You may also request to stop receiving promotional emails. For specific procedures, please contact us using the information below.
